Key West, FL 3304
From Flagler Avenue, follow Government Rd down a very long straightway through the linear Fran Ford White-crowned Pigeon Preserve almost all the way to the end. The fence to your right is the back of the airport. After the sharp bend in the road, look for the trailhead parking area on the left. You will see the blue sign that says into Little Hamaca Park.
About this park
Nature trails through native habitats. Meander over boardwalks and mulched trails through mangrove, transitional, and hardwood hammock communities. See flora and fauna indigenous and endemic to Key West. Bring your binoculars and sunscreen! This park is very secluded and best to do as a pair or group. If you’re a history buff or nature orientated then this is a place for you… kids might find it boring since you are surrounded by salt ponds and not much more!
